Research project whose goal is to help researchers overcoming information overload when finding papers and topics for literature review

Project started with contextual inquiries of users, followed by an analysis process to identify breakdowns and solutions. Finished with an application mockup and usability evaluation of the same

Was to think of xPapers as an productivity application where it help users in the task as opposite of replacing users. The application was broken down into 4 section:
- helping user prepare and organize their research by allowing multiple ways to define the domain
- leveraging on social networks to help users find relevant papers
- enabling quick relevant assessment of papers by tagging relevant elements
- empaling information by tagging information inside papers using hashtags
